Help! has anyone changed a gear box on 04 megane cc?

Help! has anyone changed a gear box on 04 megane cc?

Hi my girlfriend has a 04 1.6 vvt cc and it has lost all drive it goes into gear but doesn't move just sounds like a box ful of bolts i've started to take the box out, i've pulled it off the engine as far as it will go. i can see the clutch and it seems fine, but can't figure out how to drop the box out of the car. do i need to start taking the bumper and rad out?

no haven't gone a haynes comic, i've always found them to be no help in the past.

well if you've got one to hand could you have a quick look how to get the box out of the car please? I would appreciate it! :banghead

You need to remove the subframe...
