I've read the posts concerning front windows that go down by themselves then won't go back up due to knackered regulators but I have a slightly different problem I was wondering if anybody else has experienced.
My drivers side window refused to work full stop for a day or two, then worked for a couple of months, then didn't and so on, until a month ago when it wouldnt go down and has been dead ever since. I got a new regulator of e-bay and gingerley took the door panel off. The regulator was the wrong one but after putting everything back together hey presto it worked, but is now dead again. As I understand it the regulator is either knackered or it isnt so the fact that it occasionaly works sugests an electrical problem? Has anybody experienced anything similar?
