Hi,
Would appreciate any words of wisdom or ideas on how to repair a rip/tear in the black teabag fabric thats used on Dynamque equipped Meganes. It's the black charcoal outer material that's near the top of the inner door panel - near the window.
Unfortunately, the whippet decided to put his paws up on the door and I can only assume caught a claw in the door. The rip and small hole in the underlying sponge certainly look claw shape.
There's not enough give in the fabric for me to close it together. So thought I'd ask you chaps and chapesses for ideas on how to fix it - or even if anyone knows how much it may cost to get it re-upholstered. I have a nagging feeling that the current small rip could continue to split over time.
Cheers for any help.

I think you would be better off contacting a few breakers yards and see if you can buy a 2nd hand piece to replace the ripped one. I cant imagine it costing too much.
