rear roof glass shattered !!

Hi,hope i have put my question in the right area !

I was wondering if anyone else has ever suffered from what has happened to me this morning.My Cabriolet alarm went off this AM at 5.35,i looked outside and there was no one at all near my car,but upon checking my car i noticed my rear window was shattered.No puncture holes or bricks near it just in a million pieces.I must point out my car is reversed on the drive practically in my lounge.My insurers have picked the car up but say it might be a Renault fault and not an insurance claim.Renault say its not their problem.So i was wondering if any of you nice Megane owners out there have had their windows "self" shatter or know of any fault with the roof system and glass?? Only had the car about 6 weeks so any help would be really appreciated.I did read on the net about a batch of dodgy glass Renault had to change.Oh and its a 54 year if this can help.

Do a search for glass shattered and you'll find a few posts on same subject. Good luck with insurance/renault i forsee a lengthy battle of its their fault not ours

Cheers Nick,just checked out the rest of the forum,which i should of done before posting my question !!!! I'm ringing my local Renault dealer tomorrow and getting this sorted.
