hi, when i start my car up when it is cold , it miss-fires/splutters untill it is warm, anyone any ideas on what this could be .and its fine when its warm but when i let it cool down it does it again

Not good on engines but sure someone else will be able to help however you will need to tell us what engine you have ie Dci, 16v, VVTi + engine size and age of car.
Bumpy and full of coconuts.

hi sorry , its a 2003 megane (new shape) 1.9dci 80k on clock ,
like i said before its only when its cold , once it warm it runs fine , but when i leave it to cool down it runs very ruff again , and smokes a little and turbo does not kick in too good for the first few minutes of driving , but when turbo starts kicking in it runs perfect.

First thing to check is your glow plugs, chances are one or more is faulty.
If this proves fruitless, then get a cylinder compression test done, it could also be worth while getting your injectors checked out as well.
But first try the Glow plugs
