Fuel Consumption

Must say i'm absolutely over the moon with the fuel consumption on wifes diesel. Sh'e regularly getting over 55mpg. Its great.

Excellent, 28mpg for me. Good job it's only £1.06 a litre and we aint paying over the odds for our fuel!

what size engine steve? mines 1.9 and its just dropped from 47 to 42 recently. Had replies saying it does drop in winter cos of cold. You could be lucky and getting 60 out of it in summer!!! As for petrol prices don't think we should get started on that one!!

yeah, i'm averaging about 45 in my 1.9 at the mo but as you say its bloody freezing which doesnt help.

28 out of the R26 is bloody good imo in this weather

its a 1.9 TDI -100 bhp version

i get 28mpg out of my 1.6!!!!! yer 28! and local dealer says nothings wrong!!! hahah joke int it?

Doesn't seem right that manning. My wife has 1.6 307 and that is doing 53mpg regularly.

yer i know its well bad! but it went in the garage yes2day, coz its missfiring and running crap! i int a mechanic, but iv had 2coil packs go and its a tell tell sign its got another on way out!? but thay sead its fine!

i get around 31 out of my 1.4, manning1, that should be alot higher, is urs the vvt?

same for me. on a "normal" winter run its about 50ish... when it's colder.. 47.. but now it's between 42 and 43 depending on the roads

"Jesus" is that 307 a petrol? it is doing a clear 10 more MPG than my diesel megane hows that?
