Indicator Problem?

Postby potdci » Fri Dec 07, 2007 7:09 pm

My front drivers indicator has blown for the second time this week, has anybody got any ideas why this could happen? its a Megane 03 1.9dci

Also the drivers side door pocket seems to have filled up with water today during heavy rain?

Thanks Dru.

common problems.

There's a fault with the headlamp assembly or the connector (someone will correct me). it's well known and despite being out of warranty... you might be able to get Renault to sort it for free

Door pocket... there's a fix issued by renault. Again, goto argue with dealer to sort it despite lack of warranty for free. It's basically a shield behind your speaker to divert water away as it runs down the back of the speaker and into the door pocket. failing that, you could silicone the rim of the speaker or something i guess.

I just stuck my hand behind the assembly and had a feel around and it is working again....... for now.

As for the water leaking in i think i will try the silicone the speaker asap

Thanks again.
