Brake light mods

Have anyone modified the brakelight on the Magane II ?,

I have noticed that most of that rear light assembly is used for fog option, and was thinking it might be an option to rewire a bit, to also use those outer triangles in the assembly as brakelight. The current brakelight is not so visible, and with such good brakes that might be a bit worrying. Anyone done this before ?

Now I have these stripes as light and also braking light (incl. that one on the spoiler).

I think they are clearly visible enough and will possibly annoy other people when giving more light then they do now

The stripes are part of the design of the rear lights! I've always liked the clean look of it when compared to most other cars on the road.

Do you have the new (>2006) or old version (<2006) of the rear lights? I've changed the rear lights on my 2003 Megane to the new ones. Looks great if you ask me.

i have the pre 2006, i.e. 2003 mod.
Any pictures of those lights ? Cost ? Links to internet shop ?
