hi i have recently had a new trbo fitted to my 2003 120dci , and the guy at the garage said it will smoke a little untill it has burnt all the oil out of the system , but it wont stop smoking , and the harder you accelerate, the more smoke comes out ,

this is defianly not just burning oil , any ideas

Sounds a bit wrong to me, perhaps a seal isn't right. Take it back

I had a new turbo fitted to mine, because the old one knacked and leaked oil in to the intercooler and exhaust manifold, which ment a new intercooler to, mine started to smoke something rotten when i first started it up, a big cloud of smoke would puff out, think this will have been oil in the manifold which renault where ment to have removed and cleaned, but didnt, but its fine now, not sure how long after it stopped doing it or how many miles later, but its stopped.
And i never booted it, till id done a good few miles on the new turbo, so didnt notice any clouds of smoke out the back under harder exceleration
