Strange squeek from front wheels when reversing

Postby Peter » Fri Sep 14, 2007 5:18 pm

Hi all, can anyone shed some light on a squeeking noise that comes from the front wheels only when reversing and turning the wheels at the same time. At first thought it maybe brakes catching but wouldn't that show itself when going forwards. Maybe it's from the steering coloumn itself?

It's only a small thing but curious :?:

I have an 06 Dynamique, and mine makes more of a whine than a squeak, again only when reversing and turning the wheels, I thought it was the power steering. I only had my car 2 weeks, and am about to take to the dealer. So will let you know the outcome :?
