Alarm
Hi now that normal services seem restored can any body tell me if it’s possible to DISABLE the alarm or permanently disable the volumetric sensors. My car developed a fault recently tripping the alarm for no apparent reason. I can do the trick to stop this happening but it’sa pain doing it every time i get out of the car. THANK YOU in advance

Re: Alarm
Hi this solution may not be for you but basically I have disconnected the alarm, The alarm is hidden on in the boot on the left side looking from the rear of the car, There is a connection with 4 wires and has a blue plastic ring round it, I disconnected this connection, You will notice then there is a small red LED light this flashes a certain amount of times when alarm is activated I could not see this this cover is removed from the alarm. This flashed 3 times for me showing its the Volumatic Sensors..I have recently ordered replacement sensors my hope is to reconnect alarm with new sensors and fingers crossed its fixed
Incidentally the flasher's still flash when the car is locked and unlocked so the car looks alarmed...
I will keep you informed when I fit sensors

Re: Alarm
Replacement alarm arrived today and with the new Volumatic sensors the car is now alarmed normally...wasted a bit of money on new sensors but both items were only £20 each on Ebay so all good
