Will Not Start - Engine Turning Over OK - 1.9DCI

I'm hoping maybe you guys can help me as well. I'm having a similar problem after my car ran out of fuel. I've found the priming pump and I was trying to squeeze it earlier, but it didn't seem to be doing anything. How long will I need to do this for? Should the priming bulb feel fully inflated or feel deflated?

Pump it till it feels firm then pump a bit more , you will see the fuel in the clear pipe

Thanks. Does anything need done to the priming pump before I start squeezing it? Or can I just access it and begin as is?

"as is", as you wrote... There are two valves in the priming bulb. Help them work by squeezing and releasing it quickly. You will also need to have diesel in the tank...

my car does the same, Yet how do you detect these micro leaks? when I pump my primer the air wont budge.
