Headlights
So I brought my Mégane and last night ( first time I've had to drive it at night) I noticed that my passenger side light was facing down and the driver's side was okay. I'm new to Renault after my Citroen C2 finally died. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Headlights
Had a similar problem on my 08 megane, these headlights are adjusted by motor from a switch on the dash. What had happened with mine was the link to the motor had come off and you could hear the motor constantly running when the ignition was on. Lift the bonnet and listen for a motor running when the engine is on.
I ended up buying another headlamp off ebay, think it was about £15 or £20 (wife had complained about the lights for years, soon as I started using it in winter and i did something about it) Changingit is not too bad, remove front bumper and the headlamp is secured by two bolts that are hiddenunder the headlight, 1/4 or 3/8 long extension, think the size is 10 or 12mm. Still have my old headlamp, can cut it open to have a look for you.

Re: Headlights
Both move up and down with the switch on the dash just the passenger side is to , I was thinking about a new headlamp. It seems like the easiest solution. I'll have a browse on eBay and see What I can find.

Re: Headlights
Hi it could just be the bulb not installed correctly they are notorious for the difficulty in installing correctly....check before buying anything...i had to remove the headlights to install properly...with that in mind take this time to replace the lot....good luck
Re: Headlights
Yeah I've spoke to someone today who said he'll have a look and make sure the bulbs are in correctly, he has had the same same problem before so hopefully it will sort it.
Re: Headlights
Turns out it was the bulbs in the wrong position. Bit of jiggling about and finally got them in. Thanks for all the help guys , much appreciated
