Car is 1.6 petrol on 56 plate with 60k on the clock
Did 150 miles, sat on a ferry for an hour then when coming off in France it turned over normally but wouldn't start. Removed card, put it back and it started normally. Drove to central Germany & bumbled around for a week with no issue.
Parked up one night, came back an hour later & no start. Abandoned it, returned next morning and it started fine. Drove 15 miles home, turned it off & back on, started normally. Left it for an hour and tried again, no start, pulled crank sensor, cleaned it, still no start. Left it for 4 hours, tried again and it started.
Next morning, started, drove to within 2 miles of Calais when over the space of half a mile it died, recovered, died again, recovered again then died. Dragged to garage, when they looked at it the following morning it started normally.
Currently awaiting repatriation from France but pointers as to likely fault welcome. Seems to be time/temp related intermittent electrical but hopefully the experience of the group will come up with something more specific.
Along related lines, where can I get a manual and what do I need to read codes
cheers
non start pointers welcome

Re: non start pointers welcome
Hi, it should have stored codes to put you in the right direction.
lf not, suspect fuel problem, even check the filler cap can allow air in as the fuel goes down.
Good luck
Bob.

Re: non start pointers welcome
all sorted, none start was crank sensor, once that was changed car started and ran as normal
looking at codes also indicated cam sensor so changed that too even though car seemed to be running fine
Thanks to those who chimed in with suggestions
