Led bulbs

Hi has anyone changed the rear stop/break light bulb to led on a megane convertible I've changed all the other bulbs but this one won't come on lights up when I pull it out a bit but then it's not locked into place tried two different makes on ebay and no luck

does the normal bulb still work ?, if so is the measurement from locating pins to base where terminals are the same ? if you put the led bulb in the bulbholder can you get access to press the terminals in the bulbholder ? if so does the bulb light up ?

Thanks for the quick reply yes the standard bulb works as I took it out to try the led bulbs they are the same fitment but only light up when placed in and not pushed into place for some reason

check if the bulb has offset pins.they only fit one way

Has anyone had any luck with finding some led indicator light bulbs that actually work without excessive flashing
Also stop/tail light leds that work in a convertible mk 2 thanks as the two I purchased wouldn't light up when fitted
