Rear window going wrong way
I have installed a new rear window module which was actually from a front unit but numbers match. Now the window in question is working the opposite direction to the rest when the switch is pressed or the roof is lowered or centre button pressed. I hope this is an easy fix..... Any suggestions please?

Re: Rear window going wrong way
Only thing I know is this happen to three of my window modules before they stopped working all together (not fun when its raining and the windows are down
. It is a common problem these modules going.
I purchased 4 after market (i.e not Renault) modules off ebay about a year ago that were modified to be waterproof hence won't break like Renault one's do. Cost about £15.00 each. However the one touch automatic mode is lost with these after market modules.
My advice is: 1) try another Renault module, 2) try after market ones off ebay, 3) cut the wired under the switch and swap them over so window will move in correct direction, this is a quick fix.
The signal from the switch is sent to a control module behind the glove box then sent back to the motor in the window to operate it.

Re: Rear window going wrong way
Thanks For the reply Meganeladd. I found this very helpful. I was advised to swap the wires over by a guy at work work who is a motor winder but I am not sure that it would solve the problem with all the other switches I.E front driver switch and centre console switch. I think the after market ones would be the answer.

The after market ones are no good in a convertible because they don't work when using the central button that does all 4 windows or from the roof button. You would need to reach round to the switch in the back to operate the window each time you want to put the roof down!
I had one of my modules fixed here. It has worked perfectly ever since from all the controls.

I agree with VVC, I had all my modules repaired by the same guy - who is also a meganeCC owner, and now everything works as it should. Just need some decent weather!
