megane 1.4 mechanical door key

Hello,
I've had a problem using the electronic door key on my Megane 1.4. Could anyone advise the correct use of the emergency mechanical. Tks. Charlie. :shock:

The mechanical key only unlocks the left hand door.

Hello again, Thanx for the response. I tried the spare key and discovered that it will not enter the slot in the handle. It appears to be blocked. I examined it and at first I thought that a key may have been snapped off in it but it has been suggested that it could have been "locked off". Have you heard of this. To get it back will a new lock be required? Rgds.
