Re: driver's window
The card removal guide is in the manual in the sticky thread with manuals, above this thread. File MR365MEGANE5.pdf
It is the window regulator - a small black box attached to the motor. Sometimes cleaning its connectors may work, but usually the controller needs to be replaced. You can find a replacement on ebay at about £20-25.

Re: driver's window
if you are handy with a soldering iron, put a layer of solder on all the pins on the window regulator (both sides)
this will give a good connection when plugged back in as the pins are now slightly fatter allowing the connections
on the socket to bite into the solder.
it solved my window problem
best of luck

Re: driver's window
Hi, I was hoping I could get some help here, . I have a 2008 renault megane eco 2, the one with 6 gears. My window on the front passenger side stopped working months ago. Mechanic messed around with it and got it working again but said the motor and regulator might need replacing. Anyway it stopped again. So a friend said if I get the part he would put it in. I went to an auto parts store and they asked if it was 2 pin or 8, I have no idea and need to know before I order it. I would strip the door and have a look but I don't have tools and my friend lives a good bit away. So my question is could anyway know the pin I need. The dealership wont or cant tell me what I need.

Re: driver's window
my 08 has had a new harness on each side and still sometimes stops working, i then remove the door card spray the connections with wd40 and make sure there is a good connection. get your friend to remove the door card and play about with the connections. If it does need a motor or regulator the door card could stay off while you get one, awkward but possible
