Hy guys,
I was on motor way at 100km/h a week ago, not pulling away, just letting it roll softly, and from one moment to another the service light cames on along with the info "check injection". i toke the foot from the pedal and it went of. then it didnt came one during this last week, but there is something still present, the car doesnt pull of on low revs, and it makes a burst at 2200-2400 rpm, its well noticeable the kick off, but its a very late kick-off.
ive already toke out the EGR, clean it well, tested it using the actuators test via the OBD software, the valve is moving fine, at least i think it is.
The turbo is new since the old one broke its shaft
MAF is working fine, tried it in another engine and could see from the OBD software it was measuring fine, and the car where i tested drove well with the MAF
I'm out of ideas now and i think i can count on your help. oh, the engine is a 1.5dci, 100hp, k9k728.
cheers

The turbo is designed to give boost immediately which gives the engine low speed torque. Check at start up your turbo actuator rod fully retracts. I would imagine your turbo is spooling up much too late. If your map sensor is the 4 wire (terminal) type then it will have the air intake sensor incorporated in to it Can you check this out Hth Regards fredcamp2

hy
thanks for the reply.
the vane actuator doesnt move when i start the car, only moves when i press the gas pedal and retracts when i take the foot out. i have to mention that ive tried with another turbocharger solenoid but the symptom remains. i had this problem a few months ago when the old turbo was replaced, but somehow (dont know how..
) the problem fixed it self without changing anything. now the problem is present again...dam
ive tested the vane actuator with a vacuum hand pump and the actuator movement is soft and linear, not stuck and moves without glitches.
about the MAP sensor i dont really remember how many pins are in the connector but i can read the boost pressure using life data on the OBD reader. the pressure varies and stays very near the objective value, on idle objective is 1000mbar and the value reads 1006mbar. i press the pedal softly until 3000rpm and shows something close to 1250mbar for both objective and life value, both readings until i reach this value are very close.
one other thing ive noticed today is that during one of the tests, with the MAF sensor disconnected the car was completely fine, pulling away like it should, then connect it again and the problem is there again. disconnected it to make sure but this time the problem remains, no low rev power. ive read life data on MAF sensor and is very far from the objective value when i start pressing the pedal, during idle the value is quite good, but i dont really know how much can i trust the reference values since the OBD scanner is not CLIP or similar tool dedicated for renault, its a universal scanner. the value near full throttle is something like 480mg/str and the objective is 900, very far from the objective.
this intermittent faults kills me...
thanks

Live data is/can be useful but can also be misleading when looking at certain sensors.
Even when a sensor is faulty it can give you a live data value that makes it look like its fine. Do a simple test, disconnect the MAF look at the data and give it a rev.
Seeing as it makes a difference with the MAF disconnected on your car first off I think you should take a really careful look at each pin in the multiplug. See if any have opened up cause a poor contact. Remove each pin and carefully push the contacts closer together. Then test again.
Next test the MAF using a scope. 5v scale / 10 seconds setting is ideal for this. On idle you will see about 2v. Foot to the floor up to full revs quickly you should see it peak at 4.5v.

This one ive already tried, i takethe plug out and MAF reading goes to 100mg/str and stays there, if i make it rev the value just stays there...

ok, i will take a look at this too latter, im going to search for the pin-out of this plug to know where i connect it. thanks, ill post back
