1.5 dci fuel filter - won't connect to fuel line

Postby StevoM » Sat Feb 15, 2014 5:32 pm

Hi Everyone,

First post but use the Forum a lot for info and tips and hopefully someone can help me!

I have just replaced the fuel filter on my 1.5 dci Megane but I am having trouble reconnecting the pipes,

I have been able to reconnect all the pipes apart from the "Green" fuel line, I know to remove this line you need to squeeze the two sides to get the connector off but to but back on shouldn't it just be a push fit? I have been trying to push it back on and tried squeezing the sides and pushing but it refuses to go on. It is all very tight down there and its hard to get a good grip but I had no problem with any of the others.

Anyone have any experience of this or any ideas?

Steve

Sorted now! Was a combination of difficult access and the Green connector being a lot more difficult to connect than the other ones, nearly broke my fingers but managed it!

Cheers
