HELP ME bloody megane 1.4 16v

hi people
so i have replace all coils spark plugs i have soldered the wire that was exposed and even done and cleaned out throttle body but still got engine light on and it is high idles at about 1500-1800rpm
i have heard that this could be the alternator and belt anyone got any clue on it
i have replaced the o ring around the throttle body but not the inlet manfold could this be letting in air
i am getting to the end of this thing and a nice hammer or scrap man might fix the job i think

Hi. Had the same problem myself but didn't have the engine light, change the altanator, I've had a brand new one but now I have problems with under revving and generally all round slack, but hopefully yours will be fine once changed. Good luck.
