Just as a matter of interest where have people got these codes generators from? My battery got disconnected and now my radio won't work, the code is written down twice in my handbooks but doesn't work for some reason.

Does your car have hi-fi controls on the steering wheel? If so you use these to set the radio code not the head unit as you would for a car without steering mounted controls.

This caught me out when I needed to reset the code. It lets you enter the code but doesn't accept it when you hit the final key. Instructions are in the radio manual.
