Aircon not working - regassed

Postby LeeUK » Thu Sep 05, 2013 5:44 pm

Hi

I have never managed to get my aircon working despite having it regassed.

Does anyone know if its related to a possible fan not working?

Im just trying to narrow down possible issues

I have heard of a wire breaking that goes to the compressor, any idea which wire and where to so I can try another?

Any other potential fixes?

Yes, usually the Pressure switch, attached to the front A/C radiator, gets faulty and the A/C doesn't kick in neither the fans. as far as im aware there isn't any straight way to test the switch without an EOBD scanner "seeing" if the pressure is sensing the pressure correctly or not.

its a starting point..

good luck

Someone is interested in buying it but im not 100% in selling just yet.

Is this straight forward to replace?
