Service light reset...info please

HI all

The wife got a 2004 1.9d and the service light and spanner has come on

I have done a service myself but can anybody tell me how I can turn the light off please

With Keyless Entry:

Insert remote control in ignition slot DO NOT touch the pedals

Press and hold start/stop button for approximately 10 seconds to turn ignition on

Repeatedly press the right stalk (not hold) until spanner flashes and odo displays distance remaining

Press and hold instrument panel/cluster button on left of centre for 10 seconds until new service interval is displayed

Release cluster button

Press start/stop button to turn ignition off...



Without keyless entry perform same process but use key and not button to turn ignition on/off

That's great it worked I got shot of the spanner but still have the service on

anybody know how to turn that off ??

Reset oil service light Renault Megane 2. From year: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

How to reset oil service light Renault Megane 2.

Switch ON the ignition, don’t start the engine. For cars with keycard ignition, insert the card, then press & hold the start button for 5 seconds to turn on the dash board cluster.
Press and release the button on the end of the wiper stalk until the Change Oil Soon message appears on the display.
Press and hold the small black button situated on the rev/speedo, until it stops flashing. Picture below.
Reset change oil soon Renault Megane 2.
Now the Change Oil Soo indicator is reset.
Switch OFF the ignition and then start the engine to see if Change Oil Soon waring light has been reset.

Could be indicating a problem, not a service schedule reminder.

Hi I have read previous replies, my megan does not have a button on the dial so it have pressed the end of indicator as directed elsewhere but still does not work.
