Re: problems with my car
What's so funny about it? Could you please describe it briefly? Is it revving without you pressing the accelerator?

Re: problems with my car
There were similar reports in the past. The problem might be related to the throttle body. It can be dirt, throttle position sensor, something triggering the self-calibration mode or just air getting behind the throttle valve. The cheapest way is probably to remove and clean the throttle body and its connectors. Do the computer diagnosis as well.
It is also possible that the accelerator pedal gets disconnected intermittently (potentiometer failure), which may cause increase in revs so you could make it home without the accelerator. This, however, triggers the service light on the dash, which we don't see.

Re: problems with my car
Does the car not rev slightly at idle anyway ?
