Hi guys, looking for a little advice, there is so much that appears when looking for this but not the answers i need.
i have a megane 1.9 Dci. It has a rain sensor, but it does not work, auto lights also.
I purchased two sensors ( Second hand ) which i am told work.
When connecting them up ( just connecting without being at the window ) should this enable my auto lights to work? or does it have to be fully fitted to work?
Also how do i fit it? the other one feels like its glued on haha
Replacing rain sensor

Re: Replacing rain sensor
Not sure about the autolights, but the rain sensor will definitely not work if the sensor is not stuck to the screen with the gel.
I realise the OP posted this ages ago, but if he still reads this, are you getting any errors on the display when you try to active / deactivate the autolights?
Oh, and a bit of elbow grease should clean it.. I used blue roll (dry) to clean the gel, then wet, then dry again for a spotless finish.
