megane wont start

I have success fully changed my card reader but now my car won't start . I did flatten the battery but have charged it but the car won't turn over and the fan keeps coming on . help needed urgently an off on holiday on sat thanks

Are the doors unlocking/locking and can you get the ignition on? (all the lights, radio, fans etc)

hi yeah power is there but car just won't attempt to start. also indicators not working . the just fan keep coming on. have put battery back on charge and will try again later . wonder if it might be immobiliser

The code reader is if I remember correctly coded to the car and key. Swapping it won't help.
