As title how the hell do you check the fuses in the engine compartment on a 2005 megane cc 1.6 managed to get the lid off but over half the fuses are still inexcesable please help befor i lose my marbles !!!!!

I have commented in the non starter post by lockstock regarding the similar problem but I too wondered how on earth you check half the fuses! I wonder if you have to disconnect the plugs and maybe this engine fuse box can be lifted out?

This is gem of a post. Remove the battery, ECU, and you will be able to get to what you want.

Not Renault's finest hour...

The correct procedure will be found in the manuals - search them.

managed to repace the offending fuse with a pair of long nose pliars result !!!!
