CD Changer

evening all, ive got an in-dash cd changer along with a standard tape deck in my meggy, i have just taken out my pioneer headunit to put it in my other car. after putting the old head unit it in and putting the code in my cd changer just spits any cd back out and says something along the lines of ''CD ERR''.

does anybody have any idea why it might do this?

i left the cd changer in while my aftermarket HU was in there so it hasnt even moved. i have had it out and check all the wires were in place etc.

any help is much appreciated
