Headlight auto adjustment?

Hi,

Recently replaced the bulb in my passenger side headlight for dipped beam. I've now noticed that the beam isn't quite right as I see a bright streak of beam in front of it on the road while driving I.e. it would appear that it is pointing downward.

However when parked facing the garage door, the beam doesn't appear to be badly adjusted and after checking that the bulb was in correctly, heard a wiring noise a few times and realised that the headlight unit within the cluster was moving backwards and forwards, zooming in and out like a camera lens if you will.

It appears that it has moved further back than the drivers side unit and the bring line still appears whilst driving.

Is there any way to set this or make it reset itself?

It's an 08 phase 2 model, not Hid, just standard lights.

Have you bought the correct bulb? Is the bulb fitted/seated correctly?

The first time I changed a 'dipped bulb I also ended up with a white streak on the road, I hadn't located the bulb correctly.
