electric windows

i have disconnected the battery on my 56 plate dci megane.....now the windows only work at 3-4 inches at a time...they go up or down then stop..you have to release the button and press again....is there a way to reset these????

yes. with windows closed, hold the front drivers set of switches up for 10 seconds of so. repeat wth rears (again on drivers side switch bank)
