Heater Blower / Motor

Hello,

I'd really appreciate your help.

I have a 2008 Megane 1.5Dci with Aircon. About a week or so I started to notice a 'clicking' sound which I assumed was a leaf stuck in a vent. Anyway, the heater blower / fan just died. I've checked the 30a fuse so I assume the motor has gone. Can anybody advise..

a) Whats it likely to cost if I take it to Renault to fix, (i'm out of warranty by 3 months!)
b) How easy is it to replace the blower
c) Are there any work instructions / diagrams I can get hold of or is there such a thing as an up to date Haynes manual (not seen one for a 2008 Megane yet)

3 months away from the warranty passed you should still ask for it, explain them that the car is not so old and the blower should last more. Usually they attend this requests and you pay a certain % that you can argue a bit. About changing it your self its not too hard. You have access to it under the dashboard, you will have to go under it to access it. I already seen on this forum a thread about that. post back if you need help finding it.
