tick over issue

54 reg 2ltr megane
the car has started to have problems ticking over , about 70% of time it ticks over fine , other times it drops right down to about 400rpm and either stalls or picks up by its self . its fine driving . is their still a tick over screw i can adjust or do ECUs do away with that now ??

Is it only when starting the car? if so i had the same problem - clean the throttle body.

no , it can do it at anytime .
