Window problem

Hi All
I have a problem with my Drivers side window on my 2003 1.6 16v Privilege : I can put it down no problem, but when I try to put it up there is a sound as if it is trying to work but this lasts for only about a second then nothing, occasionally after quite a few attempts the window goes up. It goes up no problem with the dead lock on the alarm ????

I would appreceiate any advice.

No doubt it's the regulator! Give Renault a call as it's a common fault, when mine went they paid 90% of the cost
