EPS, ABS & Service lights on

Postby Carbontype » Sun May 01, 2011 4:05 pm

Hi folks, I have looked through the forum and can't find anything that matchs what I have found this morning, so wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

The car is 4 years old, it has 44k miles on it - its a megane 225

I got into it this morning, pressed the starter button and it wont start, you can hear the car fire and then it dies, after that the ABS, EPS and Service lights come on, the car also makes a small dull moaning noise. Also if i try to start it with just the clutch down its it makes this terrible clicking noise as if its trying to catch to start but doesnt this click comes in round 2 clicks per second :(

anyway thoughts would be greatly appreciated/epxerience.

thanks.

I may be wrong, but it sounds like your battery is a goner. Have you checked to make sure both terminals are tight and free from corrosion on the battery?

Completely on the money - it needs a new battery :|
