225 -Strange rattling/tapping noise!

Hi. Does anybody have any ideas to whats causing this annoying rattling/tapping noise? It only happens when the car is idling, and seems to be coming the passengers side of the engine..quite low down..louder from inside passenger side wheel arch.( UK) If you rev the engine it disappears! I know you say the noise is coming from low down passenger side but noises in cars can be very deceiving, are you sure it's not just the injectors and when the engine is revved the engine noise masks the injector noise?

I know what you mean sir. You can definitley hear the injectors rattling away...as they should...but if you listen carefully you can hear a secondary tapping or rattle which doesn't seem in time with the injectors. Totally baffled
