Hi All

please help ,I am driving Renault megane sport 225 2.0T ,,The car wont start ;I insert the card and press clutch as always,push the start button but I hear only clicks but the engine wont turn,,,

what can I do?

and to add on the above ,,sometimes it shows STEERING NOT LOCKED,,,,and central locking has stocked too

I meant central locking has stopped too,i cant lock the car using keycard

I just put the new battery today but still it won't start and even doors cannot lock

What battery did you replace, in the key or under the bonnet?

I ran my battery flat replacing the blower resistor pack - the doors were open and the courtesy lights ran the battery flat. It's easily done.
Half an hour charging (I left it in place, just disconnected the battery leads) and we were back in business.
