Uneven wear on back tyre

Hi, In my previous post (sadly no replies) I mentioned the fact I'd put 4 new tyres on (Megane 225). I've noticed the rear passenger side is showing 'extra' wear on the outside. I realise now that I've been sold a 'pup', but would anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening? (36 psi all round as per the guy who fitted the tyres)
many thanks.

You drive a relatively rare marque car. As far as I know, the rear axle camber/castor etc, cannot be adjusted on the 'standard' Megane. Since this is likely the problem, I'm out of ideas save for replacing something that has been pranged.

You might find something in the manuals - or else, the problem could be caused by non-standard wheels/tyres if you have them.

Sorry - maybe someone else will chip in with an idea.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I did wonder about the slightly 'cheaper' tyres I'd put on for the time being, but it is only the one that's showing early signs of wear on the outer edge, so I reckon 'prang' could be one cause, or perhaps excessive speed on roundabouts? :-)
I'll keep an eye on it; thanks again for your input.
