225 airbox removal

hi everyone,uk newbie here,i need to remove my airbox on my 225 trophy so that i can make enough room to see the bulkhead at side of the servo so that i can feed some new wires through for a laser jammer ive bought,ive removed the panel filter but does anyone know how many bolts hold the airbox in&what type they are ie. torx/hex nuts,i can feel a bolt under the front left side of the box,do i need to remove the battery aswell,i need to do all work from inside engine bay as i cant get under the car to remove protective floor pan,thanks for any help,pru :conf

Hi pal

To remove the airbox the battery, battery tray, airbox hose feed and ecu have to be removed. I would recommend that you get a trim removal tool for this job as the clips that hold the loom to the battery tray are a real pain.

From there the airbox just pulls forward and up off of its rubber mounts.

thanks for reply anthony,ive learnt something else cos i thought ecu was in passenger footwell,i dont suppose you no off an easier route to bring some wires through bulkhead other than the way im going,removing glovebox-airbox-then drilling a hole side off servo,thanks pru
