Standard air intake location!!HELP

Recently brought a megane 225 and fitted a ktec panel filter. I have seen another forum member (meganechick) has managed to fit/direction a cold air feed to the existing air box. I obviously know where the standard airbox is mounted but cant work out exactly where it is that it takes it the air from. I jacked the car up and seem to have a suspicion that it is located in the left hand wing area- if you look up from in front of the passenger wheel into the wing i can see an opening that would seem to lead to the air box. Does anyone know for sure where it does take the air from so that i can fit the feed to the right place and not waste my time and money-- thankyou
