Im thinking of putting a bit more air into the car and was wondering what is best, i know its a right chew on taking the air box out so how good is a performance panel filter apposed to a Induction kit
thanks

Re: Induction kit or Performance panel filter?
Most induction kits have been proven on rolling roads to lose power. Even some panel filters have too, but if you stick to either K&N or ITG (which is what I have) you should be fine. You probably won't notice any performance change, they just mean you never have to buy another paper filter. A big plus of going for the ITG is that it practically never needs cleaning.

Re: Induction kit or Performance panel filter?
ITG Panel filter is your best option for power.
However, the open filter does give off a louder spooling noise but no gain in power. As of many open cone filters/induction kits, you are prone to heatsoak.
It depends on what you're after.
Power: ITG.
Sound: Induction Kit.

Nice car but how is that relevant to the air induction topic?

sorry, posted in a wrong topic , moderator please
on topic, i have K&N panel, i think it's a best solution and it's most easy to install ...
sound? you have exaust, turbo, blow off maybe ... it's great sound with all that , you don't need air filter 2 make sound ...

Re: Induction kit or Performance panel filter?
Sounds nice Reyes, What mods do you have on the megane?
Do you have the blanking plate on the turbo?
Mine already had a Forge dump valve on when i bought the car but it isnt very loud so i expect the previous owner did not install the blanking plate. Does any one have a step by step instructions on fitting a blanking plate?
Im going to order one along with my panel filter
