Megane 225 Dump Valve Info

Hi New to the Megane world, I pick up my 225 on Wed.

Have already ordered Eibach springs and would just like to know more info on the dump valve available and is it an atmospheric one or reculating one I go for. I presume forge valves are the best ones to go for.

Appreciate any advise give.

I got mine from Forge think it was around £116 mark but dont quote me on it.Easy to fit But if your fitting the blanking plate just to make you aware it took me 3 HOURS......just to put in one screw the other 2 went in fine.The blow off valve and hose was on within 5 minutes.So enjoy your whoooooshing along the road.

what is the blanking plate for

Hi, the blanking plate is to cover where the original Diaphram Recirc valve went.

Because in a sense, you are relocating the 'dump valve'.

so if its a standard recirc valve there must be a vaccum pipe?

If you blanking the recirc off do you also have to blank the vac pipe off?

Vac pipe goes into Dump Valve.

Ps. any tips on how to get the old one off is it a 10mm socket.

while fitting a dump valve, there is a valve that came off while i was removing the old intake pipe please see pic. It is the hose on the left hand side with the sleeving has pop out and the plastic hook's have broken what is it called so that i can order a new one pleases guys. it seems easy enough to fit a new part I am just not sure what it is.
