Hi All,
Ive got an 04plate 4 door 225 and im confused by the door locking/unlocking. I have had 225s before but this is my first 4-door.
With the handsfree key thingy in my pocket i can:
Drivers Door: Unlock all doors by pulling the handle and lock them all by pressing the button.
Driver side rear door: Unlock the other 3 doors (but not this one) by pulling the handle and lock them all by pressing the button.
Passenger side Front Door: I can lock all doors by pushing the button BUT I can't unlock any by pulling the handle.
Passenger side Rear Door: I can't unlock any by pulling the handle OR lock any by pressing the button.
Surely this cant be right?
Any thoughts/comments gratefully recieved.
Cheers

You're right, each handle should work all of the other doors. It's only the tailgate that operates separately. Sounds like there's a problem with the passenger side door handles/sensors.
Coincidentally, my rear drivers side is the same as yours. However, it's not the 'pulling' of the handle that operates the opening of the doors, it's your hand moving in front of the sensor. It seems that there can be a delay because if I grab the handle and pull in one movement it's too quick for the lock and the door won't open, but if I deliberately put my hand on the handle and wait to hear the locks unlocking before pulling the handle then all works as it should!

cheers for the reply mate.
I was sure the 225 Trophy i used to have was like that - you didnt have to pull the handle, it would detect your hand and unlock before you pulled it. The tailgate works as it should but the doors are definitely strange.
Hmmm yes looks like I'm going to have a busy weekend sorting this out! If I figure out whats wrong il post it here.... might help get yours fixed.
Thanks again.
