Ring automotive Xenon max bulbs

Postby Boomstyliemikey » Thu Jan 20, 2011 7:50 pm

Bought some of these bulbs advertising 100% better brightness. Just wanted to give u all the heads up they are total wa*k. Make no difference what so ever and are annoyingly hard to fit. Waste of 25 quid

passenger side one has xenon max, drivers side has original

Xenon MAX!!! yep £18 down sink, I found they where not bad on the short distance, a little brighter I think, (just could be me trying to justify) but noticed on dark roads they had no distance on them, I found myself strangly kind of crouching by the steering wheel trying to get a bit lower to get more distant vison if you know what I mean! terrible.
Also tried some Angel Eye projector lamps as well CRAP! to be blunt, the rings where quite dim and the projector lamp was awful and way to low, I had to lift the bottom of the lamp on nuts to get the height for dipped beam but them main was totally usless as it was skyward needless to say OUT the came! plus side they did make the car look better in daylight not much good when you can't use them at night though. candles and glass jars sprung to mind!
