Just about to buy!

Firstly, nice site people.
I am about to buy an 03, 3 Door 1.6VVT Dynam Megane.
I have a few questions after searching around and wonder if you could help.
I had a really good look around after reading all the problems you have all had and went over the car with a fine tooth comb. The under floor cubby holes were wet so I think I will have the speaker/door/mirror leak but I can tackle that by taking the speakers out and sealing around the back of them with plastic as you all advise.
I am ok with changing the the pencil coils and cleaning the cam sensor.
Water ingress, how can I protect the fuse box and other electrics? - What have you all done to protect against this?
Dephaser - How do I know if this has been changed for the later type or revised design, again I will probably think of a cam belt change (its on 60k and hasn't been done) in the next year and will throw that at the mecanic too however can i look at the part and tell from the part number on it or is it not that simple?
The brake pads and disk have just been changed on the front so I assume they wont be squealing (I hope!)
Is there any other bits of advise you would tell me to take or parts you would change now for revised ones?
Thanks, Will.
