Hi Gang,
With a littl'un on the way, we are selling our wee mini cabrio to replace it with a megane (wifey likes em)
Seemingly, alot of good value out there but i just wanted to know if you could advise any particular checks with high milers or the 100/105 in general? (anything, not just engine)
My mum has a 1.4 dynamique and its way too underpowered IMO. Thats kinda why i like the balance of the 1.5 DCi's performance and economy.
All advice appreciated BTW
Regards
Andy

Re: 1.5 DCi 100/105 questions
Hi Andy
been driving the 1.5dci 106bhp now for 12 months,£35 quid a year road tax, 150 for fully omp insurance, mind you i am an old git.i beat mine to death down the m5 most days, will sit at a ton and return just under 60mpg,drive at 60 to 70 and that will go up to around 65 to 75 plus.Full service and mot just cost me £140 quid, none dealer and it for a small engined car pulls my 1000kg folding camper with ease.
pay your money and take your choice, but im happy with mine
