Postby philwxh » Fri Mar 28, 2008 5:43 pm

hi everyone, anyone any ideas why i have to pull door handles twice to open car doors, handbook states that this should only happen if the car has been locked for a couple of days which it hasnt, may try disconecting the battery, what will i have to reset afterwards, cheers.

It sounds to me like you have a faulty sensor. The same thing happened to mine. The thing behind the handle that detects your hand stops working and then you have to pull the handle twice. If one goes they all seem to stop responding. If its under warranty get them to fix it, if not decide whether you can live with it or buy a new sensor and try and work out which one has gone!! they usually go due to water getting in them.
At the end of the day... ..it gets dark
