New Megane car price in Australia

After ringing a few dealers and scrounging down accessories etc, I thought it might be nice to save someone else the hassle, and know where they stand with price in Australia.

Perhaps someone has done better than me I dont know, but if you have, or you have something to contribute like cost prices for accessories etc, it might help prospective buyers get a good deal (or at least know what range to start asking).

We are leasing our car, and could privately negotiate a better deal than the 'fleet' price.

I found out, that I could buy a 2007 Megane Dci 1.9 sedan with metallic paint, towbar, spoiler and boot tray for 31,450AUD Drive away. Proce was from the campbelltown dealer. RRP Drive away was 34,420.

RRP for a towbar is 700, and best price I could get was 450.
Spoiler I got for 550 (unsure of cost)

Tomorrow I may have a better price as am waiting for one more repsonse.

Dont know if this is useful as the 2007 models are obvisouly being replaced by the '08, and it may all not apply.

Perhaps a similar thread would be useful for UK members? I am not even sure how many Aussies are on this forum!
