The Mégane II Owners' Club

Firstly, I already have a Megane 2, so I know what I'm getting into..

Right. I have spotted a Megane 2 CC for silly money, but "the roof doesn't work - don't know why"..

I'm really tempted to go for it, if only as a distraction from the other crap I have going on at the moment. I have the time, too. I used to buy/fix/sell cars years ago, so not new to this, but rusty..

What are the likely issues, and is it likely to be difficult/expensive? Looks like one of the rear quarterlights is down, the other is up..

Suggestions welcomed!

Well. This is becoming a saga..
I missed out on buying the CC with the broken roof..
Until today. An identical one has appeared on FB, but in a different town, but still local.
He reckons his wife has had it for 8 years, and the roof doesn't work because the temic in the driver's door is dead. Also, it runs rough until it warms up..
It has a long ticket on it, though, and it's £300.
No v5, though..

Do I go for it? What do you think?

Right. I have had a look at the car. Looks great (mostly).
But the driver's side window does not work, do the roof does not come down.

It also has "service", "air bag", and the engine symbol lit up. Couldn't find my code reader. New one on order.

Engine cuts out until it warms up and then it's fine.
Any suggestions on that?

I am seriously considering buying it..(£300).. plus £50 delivery.
