I'm looking good to buy a 1.5 dci megane. I've seen a 53 plate with roughly 110,000 miles on the clock. Wondering if anyone has got any tips, anything to look out for?

Cheers

My personal tips:
Make sure all the electric windows and central locking work. Meganes are notorious for this.
Make sure the heater fan works on all settings.
If it has alloy wheels, make sure you get the key that opens the centre caps.
If it has air-conditioning, check the carpets on the passenger side.
Get the radio code.
Not relevant to you, but on a petrol vvt car, if it rattles and stalls on startup, it could be a dephaser fault - expensive!
Make sure the key card works ok. Ideally, you want two cards..

I'm sure there will be many more suggestions..

You will find that most of the posts on the "problems/questions" section are to do with the 1.5DCI engine..
Not that I'm trying to put you off, or anything..
Actually, that's the cheapest one to tax by a mile, so maybe that offsets the hassles..
